This was a horrible copy of the text book

This was a horrible copy of the text book. I assumed I was getting a text book. But when I got it it was only half of the book. This was the worst purchase I've ever made. I would have returned it back, but the whole shipping and re-buying thing would have took some time and I needed to do my class work and homework. So I had to scan the rest of the book from a classmate. So upsetting. What a rip off. It would have been nice to include that information on the description of the text book.

Wasn't pleased

I had a great teacher for this class, but I really didn't like this book. A lot of the homework had random questions that I would have to look up on the internet to find the answer for and it didn't explain things very well. If I remember correctly it also had words bolded and then wouldn't give definitions or anything for the bolded words. Also the spider on the cover isn't pleasing. I'm very afraid of spiders, even pictures freak me out. So could the next edition just have fish or like a person?

The information in this text is extremely helpful in understanding the course. Make sure you realize before you buy it that this is looseleaf and not a bound textbook! My major complaint is that many of the tables are mislabeled, leading to confusion when doing experiments and recording data. Also, it is way too heavy and bulky to try to carry around, which really irritated me at first until it dawned on me that you can just take the pages to class that you will be working on that day. Overall, it was useful, as long as you don't try to lug the whole thing around.
